What we're looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with at least 1.5 years of dedicated experience California's Workers Comp Defense System, defending employers, insurance carriers, and TPAs . You should be comfortable managing a high-volume caseload in a fully remote, paperless environment and have a track record of handling cases from inception to resolution. Bonus points if you have significant doctor deposition and trial experience.
What you'll do:
- Represent clients in all aspects of workers' compensation defense at WCAB hearings, conferences, and trials.
- Take ownership of a full caseload, driving claims toward efficient and favorable resolutions.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents specific to CA workers' compensation law.
