Trusts and Estates Associate

We are looking for a Trusts and Estates Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join Fox Rothschild's Taxation and Wealth Planning Department in Atlanta. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, client-facing attorney to work closely with a senior partner nearing retirement—positioning you to inherit a book of business and grow within a national firm that offers a collaborative, non-lockstep environment.

What will you be doing?

- Advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex wealth transfer and estate planning strategies

- Drafting and reviewing sophisticated estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and ancillary instruments

- Counseling trustees and executors on trust and estate administration

- Working directly with clients in a highly client-forward role with significant exposure

- Building toward inheriting work from a senior partner approaching retirement

Key Requirements

- 5-7 years of trusts and estates experience with strong knowledge of gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax regimes

- Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia (or ability to obtain)

- Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable in a client-facing role with direct client exposure

- Strong academic record (minimum 3.0 law school GPA)

- Stable work history with no unexplained job hopping
