The full description

We are looking for a Transactional Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join a growing boutique media, entertainment, technology, and IP law firm. You'll work across multiple practice areas—theater, commercial transactional, film/podcast production, and the creator economy—supporting sophisticated clients ranging from major publishing companies to independent creators in a collaborative, collegial environment.

What will you be doing?

- Drafting and negotiating commercial transactions across entertainment, media, and IP matters

- Supporting film, podcast, and theater production legal work

- Working on content deals related to the creator economy and influencer partnerships

- Collaborating directly with partners across multiple practice "pods" depending on client needs

- Interfacing with clients of all sizes—from Fortune 500 GCs to independent business owners

Key Requirements

- 2-4 years of transactional legal experience (big law generalist OR boutique entertainment/media firm background)

- Flexible and adaptable—willing to work across theater, commercial, production, and creator economy pods

- Strong client-facing skills and professional demeanor with sophisticated clients

- Eager interest in media, entertainment, and IP work (prior entertainment experience preferred but not required if candidate is a quick learner)

- Admitted to the New York bar or eligible for admission
