The full description
We are looking for an iOS Engineer with 1–5+ years of experience to take outsized ownership of a product used by over 1M creators. You'll be a core engineer building and scaling SideShift's iOS application — the heart of the creator experience — working directly with founders, product, design, and backend teams to ship polished features end-to-end.
What will you be doing?
- Build and ship high-quality iOS features using Swift, owning the full lifecycle from idea to launch
- Define and evolve the iOS architecture as the mobile team grows
- Craft fast, polished, native interfaces and interactions for creators
- Debug production issues and improve app reliability and performance
- Establish engineering practices and standards for the mobile team
Key Requirements
- 1–5+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift
- Experience building and scaling iOS apps from 0 to 1 using MVVM or similar patterns
- Strong understanding of iOS fundamentals, software architecture, and REST APIs
- High ownership mindset — comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup
- Strong product instincts and attention to detail in UI/UX
