The full description
We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager with 5–10 years of experience to own product areas end-to-end at Loancrate, an AI-native mortgage platform processing $85B+ in home loans. You'll be embedded with a world-class engineering team, in constant contact with customers, and making real decisions about what gets built — this is not a backlog management role. As Loancrate's engineering team more than doubles this year, you'll help shape specialized product pods and drive meaningful impact in a $2 trillion market.
What will you be doing?
- Own a product pod end-to-end — from customer discovery with mortgage lenders and ops teams to roadmap, delivery, and post-launch iteration
- Act as the bridge between engineering, design, and business — synthesizing customer needs into clear specs and architecture decisions
- Prototype and validate ideas hands-on using AI coding tools, bringing engineering concrete starting points rather than vague requirements
- Define success metrics for every initiative and drive iteration until outcomes are achieved
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to shape positioning and influence deal cycles for your product area
Key Requirements
- 5–10 years of PM or closely related experience (e.g., forward-deployed engineering); pure IC role — not a people management position
- B2B SaaS experience at a startup or growth-stage company — must demonstrate ability to ship in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments
- Demonstrated 0-to-1 product ownership — launched a net-new product or feature, not just iterated on an existing backlog; ex-founders strongly preferred
- Technical fluency sufficient to prototype with AI coding tools, read a codebase, and contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions
- US-based and authorized to work without visa sponsorship
