The full description
We are looking for a Senior M&A Associate with 7-15 years of experience to run strategic tech M&A deals end-to-end at a Pitchbook-ranked boutique law firm serving high-growth venture-backed companies. This is an opportunity to gain significant ownership and autonomy over client relationships, with partner title possible — all while working on the same caliber of deals as big law, but at a better pace.
What will you be doing?
- Running strategic sell-side tech M&A transactions end-to-end under light partner supervision
- Drafting and negotiating merger agreements, SPAs, APAs, LOIs, and term sheets
- Managing deal processes for mid-market to $50M–$200M+ transactions
- Handling occasional buy-side M&A and general corporate/ECVC overflow work during slower periods
- Building and owning client relationships with top-tier venture-backed founders and companies
Key Requirements
- 9-15 years of dedicated big-firm M&A experience (strategic M&A, not private equity; sell-side is a strong plus)
- Background at a top AmLaw firm with a recognized M&A practice (e.g., Fenwick, Wilson Sonsini, Cooley, Goodwin, Gunderson, Orrick)
- Deal sheet showing $50M+ transactions where you ran or co-ran the deal
- Stable tenure — no frequent firm-hopping (4+ years at a single firm preferred)
- Primarily tech-focused M&A experience
