This is an opportunity to join a team that values flexibility, leverages cutting-edge AI tools, and handles complex deals regularly across the table from Big Law.

What will you be doing?

- Independently running complex commercial real estate litigation matters from start to finish, including commercial mortgage foreclosures and secured creditor enforcement

- Managing and mentoring junior attorneys — reviewing their work, providing guidance, and ensuring quality on sophisticated deals

- Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, discovery, and appeals in state and federal court

- Handling court appearances, mediations, and client-facing negotiations

- Conducting diligence related to the purchase and sale of notes and mortgages

Key Requirements

- Ability to fully run sophisticated commercial real estate litigation deals independently from start to finish — this is non-negotiable

- Experience in commercial real estate litigation, with a focus on mortgage foreclosures and creditor enforcement

- Admitted to practice in New York (New Jersey admission is a plus)

- Strong management capability — must be able to guide and oversee junior attorneys on complex transactions

- Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and client communication skills
