The full description
We are looking for a Real Estate Transactional Attorney with 5-10 years of experience to join one of the nation's fastest-growing commercial real estate law firms. This is a backfill for a senior transactional counsel, and you'll be handling sophisticated real estate finance, acquisitions, and sales matters for leading developers, investors, and lenders in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
What will you be doing?
- Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, and commercial leasing
- Handle borrower and lender side financing and refinancing transactions
- Draft, negotiate, and review purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and commercial leases
- Conduct due diligence, title and survey review, and coordinate closings
- Collaborate with MSW's land use, litigation, and construction teams on integrated matters
Key Requirements
- 5-10 years of commercial real estate transactional experience in a law firm setting (mid-size to large firm preferred)
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New Jersey and/or New York Bar (if only NY barred, must be willing to waive into NJ)
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience with real estate finance matters (borrower and/or lender side)
