What you would be doing
- Handle mid-level transactional real estate deal work across acquisitions, dispositions, and financing — regularly on transactions exceeding $1 billion
- Draft and negotiate purchase/sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related transactional instruments
- Work closely with equity partners and practice group leaders on developer-oriented deal flow serving Fortune 500 clients, REITs, PE funds, foreign/domestic investors, and family offices
- Serve as key counsel on referral work from major New York firms involving Florida real estate matters, including local counsel engagements
- Support complex transactions spanning mixed-use developments, condo redevelopment, transit-oriented projects, and cross-border investment
- Collaborate in a collegial, single-office environment where creative problem-solving and client service are core values

What we're looking for:
We need a mid-level associate (3rd–6th year) with sophisticated transactional real estate experience — acquisitions, dispositions, and financing — who can step into active deal flow at a Chambers Band 1 Florida real estate practice. You should be comfortable drafting and negotiating purchase/sale agreements, loan documents, and leases, with a track record of handling complex transactions at a major law firm. Bonus points if you have experience in leasing, development, or hospitality-related transactions.
What you'll do:
- Handle mid-level transactional real estate deal work across acquisitions, dispositions, and financing — regularly on transactions exceeding $1 billion
- Draft and negotiate purchase/sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related transactional instruments
- Work closely with equity partners and practice group leaders on developer-oriented deal flow serving Fortune 500 clients, REITs, PE funds, foreign/domestic investors, and family offices

Key qualifications:
- 3–6 years of transactional real estate experience at a major law firm or strong regional firm
- Strong academic credentials required
- Must be eligible to sit for the Florida Bar (Florida Bar admission not required at hire — next sitting is July 2027)
- Broad transactional RE skillset: acquisitions, dispositions, financing
- Preferred but not required: leasing, development, and/or hospitality experience
Compensation & benefits:
- Base salary: $240,000–$365,000 depending on year of experience
- Year-end bonus eligible upon meeting 1,900 billable hour target
- Relocation assistance and Florida bar costs covered for out-of-market hires
