Product Engineer

We are looking for a Product Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join Sonata's founding engineering team and build the technical foundation of personalized preventive healthcare. You'll work directly with the founders (ex-Ramp, ex-Flatiron Health) to ship features end-to-end across patient-facing and clinician-facing products—turning complex genomic and biomarker data into clear, actionable insights. This is a high-autonomy role where you'll be given high-level problems and a Figma, and expected to figure out the best approach. We're looking for someone with strong product taste who is AI-native in how they build and ships fast without sacrificing quality.

What will you be doing?

- Building and shipping features across the full stack—clinician-facing dashboards, patient-facing health views, and AI-powered experiences

- Ingesting and presenting complex health data (genomics, biomarkers, epigenetics) in ways that are understandable and easily accessible

- Working on AI integrations including vector databases and intelligent parsing layers on top of health records

- Collaborating closely with design and the founding team to shape product direction with minimal hand-offs

- Using AI tools extensively to code and ship faster in a continuous deployment environment with no sprint cycles
