About the Role
We are looking for an ML Engineer (Algorithms) to work directly with Canyon Code's Chief Architect and CEO to turn ML systems research into a product that developers and enterprises enjoy using.
You're a fit if you…
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- A math or statistics background.Plus
- Led the development of multi-modal ML and Reinforcement Learning frameworks that dynamically weight, prioritize, and fuse highly volatile, real-time signal streams.
- Developed multi-agentic systems using LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or custom agent systems.
- Used model-serving platforms such as vLLM, SGLang, Ray, or NVIDIA Dynamo.Plus
- Used and built upon open-source software.
- Contributed to open-source software.Plus
- Good product instincts: can take a powerful backend capability and make it legible, useful, and satisfying for developers.
- Self-driven; thrives in ill-defined, ambiguous, early-stage work.
- Clear written communication: can turn research-grade ideas into docs, examples, onboarding flows, and product language.
