What you would be doing

  • Handle substantive trust and estate litigation matters with increasing autonomy and responsibility.
  • Represent senior citizens and their families in financial elder abuse litigation.
  • Represent trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries in trust and probate litigation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, research, briefing, and trial preparation.
  • Assist in mentoring junior associates and contributing to team development.
  • Develop client relationships and communication skills through direct client interaction.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join a small but growing practice group at a well-established Silicon Valley law firm. You'll be stepping into a team that needs a next-generation leader who can handle trust litigation matters with increasing autonomy and help build out the group alongside seasoned practitioners.

What will you be doing?

- Handling substantive trust and estate litigation matters (will/trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty, elder abuse, removal actions) with growing independence

- Representing trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries in probate litigation

- Collaborating with senior attorneys on case strategy, briefing, and trial preparation

- Developing direct client relationships and communication skills

- Contributing to the growth and development of a small, expanding practice group

Key Requirements

- 4-6 years of trust and estate litigation experience — this is not a crossover role; you must already know trust litigation

- Active membership in the State Bar of California (in good standing)

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

- Collaborative mindset and desire to grow into a leadership role within the group

- Excellent reputation for integrity and collegiality among bench and bar
