The full description
We are looking for a Product Engineer with 0-3 years of experience to build 0→1 products at an applied research lab creating the foundational infrastructure to train specialized AI agents. You should be a generalist full-stack engineer who thrives in ambiguity: ideally an ex-founder, founding engineer, or someone with early-stage startup DNA who can move fast, work directly with customers, and ship real products. This is new zero-to-one work building product surfaces that turn Plato's frontier research into usable software for labs, startups, and enterprises.
What will you be doing?
- Build 0→1 products from scratch, turning ambiguous customer and research workflows into clear, usable product experiences
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs and translate messy technical workflows into shipped software
- Own full-stack product work across frontend, backend, data models, and internal tooling
- Create interfaces for inspecting traces, validating environments, reviewing rollouts, and understanding model behavior
