Member of Technical Staff, Infrastructure

We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff with 2+ years of experience to own and build the distributed systems and ML infrastructure powering a fleet of deployed robots. You'll join a small, high-slope team working six days a week to solve some of the hardest infrastructure problems in robotics – from petabyte-scale data pipelines to GPU cluster orchestration to sub-200ms round-trip latency across hundreds of miles. This is not a big-tech role; you'll go wherever the bottleneck is, ship fast, and set engineering standards while the codebase is still young enough for decisions to stick.

What you will be doing

- Building and owning distributed systems infrastructure – training orchestration, compute scheduling, fault tolerance, and networking for large-scale model training runs

- Designing data pipelines that ingest petabytes of robot fleet telemetry and video corpora, keeping GPUs fed without stalls

- Architecting the continuous-learning loop that moves production trajectories from deployed robots back into training reliably and autonomously

- Going wherever the bottleneck is week to week – one month it's a deployment path, the next it's a core library or observability gap

- Building internal tooling that compounds and makes every engineer and researcher on the team faster
