Member of Technical Staff (Frontend)

We are looking for a Frontend Member of Technical Staff with 7+ years of experience to join a 25-person team building the next great consumer platform powered by generative AI. You'll be a senior IC (L6 equivalent) who can come in and help scale astrocade.com as the company gears up for its US launch. Think of it like joining YouTube in 2005 — high ownership, zero politics, and the architectural challenges of a platform already serving 40M+ users. You'll report to the founding frontend engineer and work alongside a world-class team backed by Sequoia, Google, and NVIDIA with $100M+ in the bank.

What will you be doing?

- Own and build core user-facing features across the creation and discovery experiences on astrocade.com using React, Next.js, and React Native

- Solve scaling and performance challenges as the platform doubles users every three months (currently 40M+ users, 200M+ gameplays/month)

- Work across the full frontend stack — from caching and server pages on Vercel to authentication and connecting frontend to backend services

- Ship new features daily in a fast-moving, zero-to-one environment with high autonomy and direct impact
