The full description
We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff with 5+ years of experience to join Shared Context Labs as a founding engineer building adaptive personal AI agents that help everyday consumers navigate life. You'll shape the technical foundation of a product called Q — a conversational AI that sits between assistant and friend — working on core agent infrastructure, memory systems, and simulation environments from the ground up.
What will you be doing?
- Building agent harness, simulation, and eval environments for long-horizon agent behavior
- Designing and implementing the memory layer and memory retrieval systems
- Developing conversation design systems for a consumer-facing conversational AI product
- Owning core backend and AI infrastructure across multiple product domains
- Helping shape the technical roadmap, culture, and founding team alongside the CEO
