Litigation Associate (San Diego)

Burke offers a collaborative environment where attorneys work alongside seasoned practitioners to deliver effective and strategic representation. We are seeking an associate with 2-3 years of experience to join the expanding Litigation team. The ideal candidate will have:

- Excellent writing, research and analytical skills

- Support partners and senior attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation

- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive legal issues

- Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural rules

- Participate in client interviews, witness preparation, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.

- Thrive in a collegial, fast-paced environment with opportunities for early responsibility and direct client interaction

The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $150,000 – $170,000 plus annual performance-based bonuses. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
