The full description
We are looking for a Litigation Associate with 4+ years of broad-based litigation experience to join a dynamic, full-service California law firm where you'll get early exposure to substantive work, client relationships, and business development opportunities that larger firms simply don't offer.
What will you be doing?
- Taking and defending depositions and arguing motions
- Preparing cases for trial and chairing cases with significant autonomy
- Handling commercial litigation matters including breach of contract, tortious interference, and breach of fiduciary duty
- Developing client relationships and building your own book of business with firm support
- Collaborating with partners across practice areas including real estate, land use, trusts and estates, and IP litigation
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of broad-based litigation experience with hands-on deposition and motion practice experience
- Admission to the California Bar
- Strong academic record from a reputable law school
- Demonstrated stability — candidates with frequent job changes (under 2 years per role) will face scrutiny
- Ability to articulate substantive litigation experience (depositions, chairing cases, trial prep) — not just big firm paper-pushing
