We are looking for a Licensing & Transactions Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join a growing IP boutique's patent licensing practice. You'll manage patent licensing programs for startup and university clients, with direct responsibility and the opportunity to build your own practice alongside the firm's managing partner.

What will you be doing?

- Leading interactions with potential licensees across multiple licensing programs

- Preparing and presenting evidence of use (EOU) claim charts

- Conducting reverse engineering and EOU investigations, including analysis of internet and network traffic

- Supporting negotiation and closing of patent licensing deals

- Engaging directly with clients and building your own practice within the firm

Key Requirements

- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (must qualify to sit for the patent bar)

- J.D. and active U.S. state bar membership

- Patent experience at a law firm (prosecution, licensing, or litigation)

- Must work 5 days/week in-person in Pasadena, CA

- Must provide unofficial undergraduate transcripts (and all other transcripts) with application
