Labor & Employment Counsel

We are looking for a Labor & Employment Counsel with 9-12 years of experience to join Fox Rothschild's Los Angeles office. This is someone with true wage and hour expertise who can independently manage matters and oversee associates — the kind of attorney a partner can hand a case to and trust them to run with it.

What will you be doing?

- Managing labor & employment litigation matters from start to finish with minimal partner oversight

- Defending single plaintiff claims (discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, reasonable accommodation)

- Handling PAGA matters and class actions

- Taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions

- Supervising and mentoring associates on the team

Key Requirements

- 9-12 years of California labor & employment litigation experience, particularly wage and hour

- Licensed to practice law in the State of California

- Ability to independently manage cases end-to-end without heavy partner supervision

- Hands-on courtroom experience — depositions, motions practice, witness prep

- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record
