Labor & Employment Associate

We are looking for a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join Fox Rothschild's Los Angeles office and support a team of four partners across employment litigation matters. You'll be getting your hands dirty from day one — this is a firm where associates work directly with partners and clients, not as one of ten people on a case.

What will you be doing?

- Defending single plaintiff employment litigation (discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, reasonable accommodation)

- Handling PAGA matters and class actions

- Conducting and defending depositions, including plaintiff and corporate witness depositions

- Drafting and arguing dispositive and discovery motions

- Working directly with multiple partners (Stephen Gallagher, Nancy Yaffe, Daniel Kit Cease, Jeffrey Horton Thomas) across their practices

Key Requirements

- 3-5 years of California labor & employment litigation experience

- JD required and licensed to practice in California

- Hands-on deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience (not just big-firm paper review)

- Ability to manage day-to-day case responsibilities with moderate independence

- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record
