What you would be doing

  • Conduct legal research and draft strategy memos that frame case theory, thematics, and end-goal narrative — not just doctrinal analysis
  • Draft demand letters to media outlets seeking corrections, retractions, and cessation of false narratives, leveraging the firm's extensive precedent bank
  • Prepare witnesses and assist with deposition prep for high-stakes defamation and commercial litigation matters

  • Contribute to pre-publication counseling — engaging publishers before damaging stories run to force editorial and legal accountability
  • Take ownership of case strategy and execution in a non-hierarchical structure where staffing is based on ability, not class year
  • Collaborate closely with partners and fellow associates on plaintiff-side litigation always positioned for trial and jury recovery

What we're looking for:

We need a junior litigator (1st–3rd year or recent federal clerk) with a strong academic record, sharp legal writing, and exceptionally high EQ who thrives under pressure and can hold their own with sophisticated, high-profile clients in crisis. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, non-hierarchical environment where you'll take real ownership of cases far earlier than at any big-law peer. Bonus points if you have a background in media/journalism, entertainment/streaming, or crypto.

What you'll do:

- Conduct legal research and draft strategy memos that frame case theory, thematics, and end-goal narrative — not just doctrinal analysis

- Draft demand letters to media outlets seeking corrections, retractions, and cessation of false narratives, leveraging the firm's extensive precedent bank

- Prepare witnesses and assist with deposition prep for high-stakes defamation and commercial litigation matters

- Engage directly with high-profile clients (Fortune 100 CEOs, hedge fund principals, public figures) and media outlets earlier than at most firms

- Contribute to pre-publication counseling — engaging publishers before damaging stories run to force editorial and legal accountability

- Take ownership of case strategy and execution in a non-hierarchical structure where staffing is based on ability, not class year

- Collaborate closely with partners and fellow associates on plaintiff-side litigation always positioned for trial and jury recovery
