The full description
We are looking for an Intellectual Property Patent Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join Fox Rothschild's growing IP practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically-minded patent attorney to work across a diverse client base of 30,000+ clients nationwide, with strong support from a collaborative national platform.
What will you be doing?
- Drafting and prosecuting U.S. provisional, utility, and international patent applications
- Preparing patentability opinions for clients in the mechanical engineering space
- Strategically planning and maintaining patent portfolios
- Working on matters involving machines and mechanical inventions
- Collaborating with a national IP team across multiple offices
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (non-negotiable — the team is very adamant on this)
- 4-6 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience
- USPTO registration required
- Juris Doctorate (JD) and bar license in the state of the applicable office
- Strong academic record (minimum 3.0 law school GPA)
