The full description
We are looking for a Graphics & Tools Engineer with 4+ years of experience to optimize rendering performance and build internal tooling for our mobile games that reach millions of players. You'll sit at the intersection of rendering performance and developer productivity, ensuring our games run beautifully across a wide range of devices while making the rest of the team faster.
What will you be doing?
- Profile and optimize CPU, GPU, and memory performance in Unity across mobile devices using Unity Profiler, Frame Debugger, and Xcode Instruments
- Analyze and optimize Shader Graph shaders for mobile GPUs, balancing visual quality against frame time and thermal/battery constraints
- Design and build editor tools, custom inspectors, and build pipeline automation that improve workflows for artists, designers, and engineers
- Establish performance budgets and build automated profiling/regression systems to catch issues before they ship
- Help drive migration to the Cocos engine, including porting rendering features, shaders, and tooling
Key Requirements
- Strong professional experience with Unity, including deep familiarity with its rendering pipeline (Built-in, URP, and/or HDRP)
- Proven graphics profiling experience — ability to read frame captures, identify GPU bottlenecks, and distinguish between fill-rate, bandwidth, and vertex-bound scenarios
- Hands-on experience analyzing and optimizing shaders in Unity (Shader Graph, HLSL/ShaderLab)
- Track record of building tools for game developers: editor extensions, pipeline automation, or workflow tools that teammates actually use
- Strong C# skills and comfort working in a shared, production codebase; familiarity with AI tools (especially Claude Code) in day-to-day workflow
