The full description
We are looking for a Founding Senior Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join as engineer #2 at an a16z-backed startup building the AI general manager for consumer brands. You'll be a player-coach who ships product hands-on while helping set the engineering culture and architecture for a company that's doubling its brand base every month.
What will you be doing?
- Building the data infrastructure to track every event in each merchant's lifecycle — learning what actions lead to what outcomes
- Developing the agentic self-optimizing growth loop that assesses a merchant's growth operations, identifies changes needed, and executes them automatically
- Owning the full-stack engineering behind the growth engine end-to-end, with a heavy backend/infra focus
- Shipping reliable integrations with Shopify, Meta, and TikTok plus orchestration tooling
- Playing a player-coach role — mentoring the founding engineer while staying hands-on-keys daily
