The full description
We are looking for a Founding Product Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join a small, high-intensity team building AI coding agents for hedge funds. You'll be the first engineering hire at Village, helping bring the core product to maturity while working directly with sophisticated investor customers to understand their research needs and translate them into reliable software.
What will you be doing?
- Building and improving coding agents that create custom data pipelines, scrapers, and dashboards for hedge fund customers
- Managing remote dev environments and infrastructure for customer agent deployments
- Talking directly with customers to understand their research goals and collaborating to deliver tailored solutions
- Bringing features from 0 to 1 — from design and scoping through to final deliverable
- Developing agent skills, tool libraries, and scaffolding that make the platform more capable over time
