The full description
We are looking for a Design Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to own design and frontend implementation end-to-end at Temper, the AI-native system integrator for the real economy. You should be someone who would have been a designer in a previous world but can also ship production code. You'll set the design language that every future hire builds on, working directly with the founders at a high-intensity, in-person startup in San Francisco. This is a rare opportunity to be the first design hire at a company with paying multi-billion dollar enterprise customers and $8.3M raised.
What will you be doing?
- Own design end-to-end: the agentic ADE interface, the platform UX (deploys, runtime, observability), and the brand
- Design visuals and implement production frontend yourself in React/TypeScript: no handoffs
- Set the design language and UX patterns that the entire product and future team builds on
- Work directly with the CPO and co-founders to shape a dense, technical B2B platform with an agentic layer on top
