Founding Full-Stack Engineer (exclusive)

This is one of our first three engineering hires. You will own the product surface end to end, from the chat interface a user types their thesis into, to the agent loop that turns it into a tested strategy, to the rails that settle it. We have not built the internal playbooks yet, so we are looking for someone who has built them somewhere else and wants to bring them. Most of what we do does not have a correct answer. The judgment call about what to build is what we are indexing for in this hire.

What you'll do

- Ship product surface end to end. Take a feature from a napkin sketch with Dylan or JZ to a flow real traders use. Chat experience, artifact pane, strategy execution, feedback loop. All yours.

- Bring the best of the engineering culture you've been exposed to. The protocols, the code review norms, the way you ship under pressure without breaking things. We will incorporate what works and discard what does not.

- Hunt your own scope. Beyond what we hand you, identify the next thing the product needs and propose it. The judgment of what to build is the work.

- Own multiple projects from genesis to completion. You will have direction, not a queue. If you need help, you will hire it. Cash is not the constraint here. Attention is.

Representative projects (first six months)

- Rebuild the chat interface. Move us from one-shot workflow generation to a chat-first experience with artifact panes. Own the design and the ship.

- Ship the strategy execution layer. Agents translate intent into proposed strategies. Build the infrastructure that takes those strategies live across exchanges, prediction markets, and on-chain venues.

- Add a new asset class to the platform. Pick one (commodities, prediction markets, equities) and own its end-to-end integration into Catalyst's natural language layer.
