The full description
We are looking to hire a Family Law Associate Attorney to add to a small, but growing, family law firm in San Diego, CA.
What will you be doing?
- Independently managing your own family law cases from start to finish, with support from principal and senior attorneys available as needed.
- Providing high-quality representation to clients
- Maintaining work-life balance with reasonable caseloads
- Billing average 130 hours per month (~6 billable hours per workday)
- Optional 3:2 hybrid work schedule available
Key Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Ideally at least 5 years of dedicated family law experience:
- To qualify as "family law experience," the time must be exclusively (or primarily) dedicated to handling family law cases.
- Family law experience must be recent. Ideally, the candidate would be currently working in family law.
- Ability to independently manage cases or a desire to take that next step in their career.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and strong communication skills.
- Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) not required, but would be a highly attractive candidate.
