Engagement Lead, Future Platforms (Accounting)

We are looking for an Engagement Lead with 5+ years of experience in accounting software implementation and customer management to deploy EliseAI's back-office accounting products to enterprise customers. You'll be a forward-deployed accountant—part consultant, part implementation expert—helping customers scope, configure, and launch financial automation workflows at startup speed.

What will you be doing?

- Managing customer engagements end-to-end, working directly with CFOs and finance teams to deploy accounting and ERP products

- Scoping customer workflows and configuring EliseAI's accounting software to match their needs

- Owning pre-sales and post-sales activities for accounting-specific products (GL, AP, AR, payroll, payments)

- Communicating complex accounting and technical concepts to customers clearly and effectively

- Operating at startup pace—taking ownership, moving fast, and building processes from scratch

Key Requirements

- Experience in ERP/accounting software implementation (e.g., Finance Transformation at Big 4, or at an accounting/ERP startup)

- Strong understanding of back-office accounting processes (GL, reconciliations, month-end close, AP/AR)

- Proven customer management skills—ability to communicate complex topics to senior finance stakeholders

- Builder mindset with ability to work at startup pace; not looking for someone who needs heavy structure

- Willingness to work on-site in NYC 4-5 days per week
