The full description
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 3-7 years of experience to own the bring-up, debug, and integration of next-generation mixed-signal boards for a groundbreaking terahertz imaging platform. You'll join a team of 15 passionate engineers building the world's best concealed weapon detection system—technology that no one else in the world gets to work with. This is a hands-on role where you'll punch above your weight, making engineering decisions typically reserved for far more senior engineers. You'll work directly with the Director of Systems and cross-functional teams spanning FPGA, firmware, AI, and mechanical assembly. If you're curious, broad, and not afraid to get your hands dirty across multiple domains, this is your opportunity to make a real impact on public safety.
What will you be doing?
- Leading board-level bring-up, power sequencing validation, and subsystem integration across ~6 different board designs
- Debugging and performing root cause analysis on signal integrity, power, and RF performance issues—then driving fast design iterations to resolve them
- Collaborating with an external design firm to update schematics and review layouts, managing the full cycle from new rev fabrication through characterization and validation
- Working cross-functionally with FPGA, firmware, and systems engineers to validate integration at the subsystem and system level
- Building out traceability and test procedures to support the company's push toward higher unit production volume
