The full description
We are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer with 2-3+ years of experience to execute commissioning programs on Rivan's modular synthetic fuel plants. You'll be someone who thrives in the field, can work independently on complex hardware, and has the aptitude to identify and solve problems — not just run through checklists. This role is critical to ensuring Rivan's systems are safe to operate autonomously once deployed, checking all control systems, software, and electrical infrastructure before handover. You'll join a fast-moving, engineering-first team building foundational technology for an entirely new industry, with complete ownership and accountability from day one.
What will you be doing?
- Executing electrical commissioning programs on Rivan's deployed synthetic fuel plants, ensuring all control systems and software perform safely and as expected
- Commissioning PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems including loop checking and verifying industrial communications protocols
- Leading temporary and permanent LV electrical site setup and commissioning solar array electrical systems
- Hands-on fault finding, anomaly detection, and diagnosis on complex processing hardware involving gases, liquids, and solids
- Flagging issues early in the commissioning process and working with the engineering team to resolve them before systems go live
