Deployment Strategist

We are looking for a Deployment Strategist with 0-5 years of experience to own client relationships and solve complex problems across manufacturing, distribution, defense, and life sciences. You'll work in pods alongside Forward Deployed Engineers, acting as the strategic brain that maps processes, scopes solutions, and translates messy real-world problems into deliverable AI projects — all in a fast-moving, 0-to-1 environment backed by top Silicon Valley investors.

What will you be doing?

- Deeply understanding client processes (supply chain, manufacturing, distribution) through direct engagement and rapid process mapping

- Scoping and prioritizing use cases, defining requirements, and designing solutions for complex enterprise problems

- Interfacing with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical deliverables within realistic timeframes

- Managing scope creep and stakeholder alignment across client engagements

- Performing semi-technical work including data operations, basic analytics, and API-level understanding to move fast without dependencies

Key Requirements

- Exceptionally strong problem-solver with clear signals of excellence (top-tier school, competitive achievements, quantitative background, or standout consulting performance)

- Semi-technical: comfortable with APIs, data operations, and basic analytics — no production code required

- Experience or aptitude in traditional industries (supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, defense, life sciences) — not just consumer tech

- Must be open to relocating to client engagement sites (currently Reston, VA or Chicago, IL) and willing to travel extensively

- Thrives in ambiguity and 0-to-1 environments — this is not productized consulting
