The full description
We are looking for a Construction Litigation Associate with 5+ years of strong civil litigation experience to join one of the premier construction litigation practices in California. You'll be handling significant and complex construction matters throughout the state for a firm that has been searching for the right candidate and has plenty of work to keep you busy.
What will you be doing?
- Handling complex construction litigation matters throughout California
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and managing discovery (drafting and responding)
- Conducting legal research and motion practice
- Working collaboratively with the construction law team in a fast-paced environment
- Delivering high-quality work product while meeting client expectations and deadlines
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of strong civil litigation experience (no training needed — must hit the ground running)
- Licensed attorney barred in California
- Strong academic record (law school transcript required)
- Excellent writing and analytical skills (writing sample required)
- Construction law experience desired but not required
