Commercial Real Estate Partner (NYC)

We are looking for a Commercial Real Estate Partner with 10+ years of experience to join a fast-growing, technology-forward boutique firm and help drive the next phase of its expansion. Looking for a $2mm book of business. This is a growth hire - ideal for a senior attorney from Big Law who is ready for a platform where they can run sophisticated deals independently, build their own book of business, and enjoy true flexibility without bureaucracy.

What will you be doing?

- Running complex commercial real estate finance, lending, transactional, or litigation deals independently from start to finish

- Mentoring and guiding junior attorneys on sophisticated client transactions

- Developing and growing your own book of business with the firm's support and platform

- Working across the table from Big Law on high-stakes, competitive deal work

- Contributing to the firm's organic growth strategy and long-term vision

Key Requirements

- Ability to independently run sophisticated commercial real estate deals from start to finish - this is non-negotiable

- Ideally ~$2M book of business, or a demonstrated ability and desire to generate business on a new platform

- Deep experience in commercial real estate (lending, transactions, or commercial litigation)

- Senior-level presence — capable of overseeing junior attorneys' work, correcting errors, and guiding deal execution

- Comfort with AI tools (Harvey, Claude) and a forward-thinking approach to legal technology
