The full description
We are looking for a Case Manager with 3-8 years of experience in immigration, global mobility, or legal tech to serve as the primary point of contact for customers navigating their U.S. visa journey at Lighthouse. You'll project manage 50-100 cases at various stages, coordinating between foreign nationals, employers, attorneys, and internal teams to push cases through efficiently.
What will you be doing?
- Managing a book of 80-100 customers (50-70 active) at various stages of the immigration process, prioritizing the most critical cases daily
- Responding to inbound communications from beneficiaries and employers — approximately 60-75% of your day is external-facing coordination
- Running daily pod standups with attorneys and drafters, directing priorities and assigning tasks across your cases
- Project managing internal stakeholders and customers to collect documentation, hit filing milestones, and keep cases on schedule
- Systematically organizing your workflow to identify the highest-impact actions across dozens of concurrent matters
Key Requirements
- 3-8 years of experience in immigration case management, paralegal work, or global mobility (employment-based immigration required)
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload (50+ active matters) with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong customer-facing communication skills — you must be someone we can trust to build relationships with foreign nationals and employers
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset — comfortable independently prioritizing and problem-solving in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with employment-based visa types (O-1, H-1B, EB-1A, PERM, etc.) and the overall petition process
