Business Recruiter

We are looking for a Business Recruiter with 4-7+ years of experience to drive full-cycle hiring across AfterQuery's business and operations functions. You'll be joining YC's fastest unicorn at a defining moment in AI, partnering with the founding team to identify and close elite talent from top finance, consulting, PE, and tech firms.

What will you be doing?

- Run full-cycle recruiting for business and operations roles — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates across Strategic Projects, Operations, and GTM

- Build proactive talent pipelines from elite finance, consulting, PE, and tech firms (Jane Street, Citadel, MBB, Goldman Sachs, Palantir, etc.)

- Partner with the Lead Business Recruiter and executive team to define hiring profiles, prioritize searches, and run rigorous interview processes

- Build and improve recruiting infrastructure — scorecards, interview rubrics, sourcing tooling, and the offer-and-close motion

- Track your funnel metrics, model conversion at every stage, and iterate on what's working

Key Requirements

- 4-7+ years of recruiting experience across agency and in-house, with a track record of closing strong talent

- Experience recruiting from elite talent pools — finance, consulting, PE, or top tech companies

- Intense work ethic, high agency, and comfort operating in ambiguity at a fast-moving startup

- Strong communication skills — able to hold your own with founders, traders, and GTM leaders

- Willingness to work 5 days in-office in San Francisco
