- Design, build, and maintain our core GraphQL API, treating it as a product that our customers depend on.
- Help build out our event-driven architecture, moving our API to a world where it proactively communicates what happened, why, and what to do next.
- Create thoughtful abstractions and clear documentation to make the complex mortgage process impossible for developers to get wrong.
- Work closely with subject matter experts and customers to incorporate feedback and iterate on API designs.
- Own the full lifecycle of the API, including versioning, breaking changes, and developer onboarding.

What we're looking for

You should have experience building public-facing APIs, ideally with GraphQL, and a proven ability to model complex business domains into simple code. You are comfortable working closely with customers and subject matter experts to translate their needs into a delightful user experience.
