Atlanta Junior General Liability Associate

We are looking for an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of civil defense litigation experience to join Lydecker's growing Atlanta office and handle a full caseload of general liability matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants full ownership of their cases rather than being siloed into narrow tasks, with a clear path to promotion from associate through to partner and equity track.

What will you be doing?

- Managing a full caseload of premises liability, personal injury, and general liability defense matters (15+ cases at once)

- Drafting and responding to motions, complaints, and written discovery

- Attending and defending depositions, court hearings, and client meetings

- Assisting with preparation for mediations and trials

- Working under partner supervision with increasing autonomy as you prove yourself

Key Requirements

- Active Georgia bar license in good standing

- Associate: 2-4 years of civil defense litigation experience (general liability, bodily injury, premises liability, or similar)

- Experience at a defense-side firm handling similar work (e.g., Hall Booth Smith, Swift Currie, Lewis Brisbois, or comparable)

- Self-motivated with strong client communication skills and ability to work independently
