Associate Attorney

We are looking for an Associate Attorney with 0-15 years (leaning on the more junior end of this range) of experience to join a welcoming, full-service law firm in Johnstown, PA. This is an opportunity for someone with ties to the area (or looking to return) who wants hands-on experience across multiple practice areas, a manageable 1,200 billable hour requirement, and a strong sense of community and work-life balance.

What will you be doing?

- Handling business, municipal, and estate planning matters across the firm's practice areas

- Appearing in court and gaining early, hands-on litigation experience

- Meeting with clients, drafting legal documents, and managing your own files

- Supporting senior partners (many in their 50s-80s) who need additional capacity

- Working across 20+ practice areas including townships, water/sewer authorities, and corporate matters

Key Requirements

- Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (or preparing to sit for the PA Bar)

- Interest or coursework in business law, municipal law, or estate planning

- Willingness to work fully in-person in Johnstown, PA (ties to the area or desire to relocate strongly preferred)

- Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently and transition between practice areas

- Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
