The full description
We are looking for an AI Product Engineer with 2–20 years of experience to build and deploy bespoke AI-powered software solutions for some of the world's most important institutions — governments, insurers, healthcare systems, and financial services firms. You'll work directly with customers to define product specs and ship from zero, sitting at the intersection of product thinking and hands-on engineering. This is a role for builders who thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and want to see their work matter at national scale.
What will you be doing?
- Build AI-powered software solutions end-to-end — from customer spec to production deployment — across verticals like government, insurance, healthcare, and finance
- Work directly with customers to understand complex workflows and translate them into usable, impactful product experiences
- Collaborate closely with the AI/ML team (who handle model selection, training, and evals) to build applications on top of their outputs
- Own full-stack development with a backend-leaning bias — TypeScript and Python are the core languages; React for front-end
- Operate in small, fast-moving teams with a 70–80% coding / 20% customer-facing split (shifts more customer-heavy at senior/staff levels)
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build 0-to-1 — shipped production software end-to-end at a startup or high-growth company, not just big tech
- Strong product thinking — you've worked directly with customers or stakeholders to define specs and turn ambiguity into working software
- Proficient in TypeScript or Python (both preferred); full-stack capability with a backend lean
- Signs of excellence across career — strong school, reputable company, or early-stage startup with measurable impact (e.g. double/triple-digit lift)
- Comfortable in a hybrid SF environment, moving fast, wearing multiple hats, and operating without a fully defined playbook
