The full description
We are looking for an AI Forward Deployed Engineer with 2–6 years of experience to embed directly with healthcare clients, rapidly scope their most painful operational workflows, and ship production-grade computer-use agents that automate them. You'll operate like a mini-founder — owning the full post-sales deployment lifecycle from discovery to live product — at a YC-backed startup that grew from $0 to $1.5M+ ARR in just 6 months.
What will you be doing?
- Sit on-site with healthcare clients, deeply understand their workflows, and translate messy operational problems into agent-based solutions
- Rapidly prototype and ship computer-use agents (browser/desktop automation) — going from scoping to live deployment within 1–2 weeks
- Iterate continuously on deployed agents based on real user feedback, edge cases, and failure investigation
- Feed patterns and learnings from client deployments back into the core agent platform infrastructure
- Own client relationships post-contract — you're the technical point of contact, not a PM or AE
Key Requirements
- CS degree (or 4+ years at a FAANG-tier company as a substitute)
- Strong pedigree at either a high-bar large company (Meta, Netflix, Snap, Stripe) or a high-growth startup (YC/top-tier seed through Series C — e.g. Decagon, Clay, Ramp, Robinhood)
- Backend-leaning software engineer comfortable with statically typed languages (TypeScript, Go, C++ etc.) — pure Java/C#/.NET or Python-only backgrounds are a red flag
- Comfortable talking directly to customers to scope problems and present solutions — you don't need a PM to translate for you
- High ownership and zero dependence on well-defined tickets — you take ambiguous problems and drive them to shipped software
