What you would be doing
- Build and maintain the core agent infrastructure that powers computer-use agents across healthcare customer workflows, including browser automation, desktop automation, tool use, state management, and retry logic
- Design and implement evaluation and observability systems to measure agent performance, debug agent decisions, and track regressions over time
- Improve agent architecture by experimenting with and productionizing better approaches to planning, execution, memory, validation, and recovery
- Own backend systems and durable workflow orchestration — APIs, domain services, background jobs, workflow engines, and event-driven systems across the TypeScript monorepo
- Partner with forward-deployed engineers to convert recurring deployment pain points into reusable platform capabilities and internal tools
- Create clean abstractions and reusable primitives that enable agents to operate across fragmented healthcare systems (EMRs, portals, faxes, PDFs) safely and reliably

What we're looking for:
We need someone with 4+ years of software engineering experience who has deep expertise in TypeScript backend systems and building production-grade infrastructure. You should be comfortable working at the intersection of AI agents and systems engineering, with a track record of designing reliable, scalable platforms in fast-moving environments. Bonus points if you have experience with computer-use agents, browser automation, or workflow orchestration systems like Temporal.
